The Complete Guide to the Razer Blade Stealth Laptop

by UPSCALED November 17, 2022 6 POPULAR READ

Introduction

The Razer Blade Stealth is a 13-inch laptop with cutting edge specs and design, making it one of the best laptops for travel. It has a touchscreen display and can be used as both a notebook computer or tablet for gaming and entertainment.

About Razer Blade Stealth

The Razer Blade Stealth is a gaming laptop made by the company Razer. It has a powerful processor, thin and light design, and cooling technology that keeps it cool even when you’re running high-performance apps. It’s also one of the best laptops for travel or anyone looking for a lightweight alternative to their current computer.

There are several reasons why we think the Blade Stealth is one of the most popular laptops on Amazon:

  1. It has an Intel Core i7-8565U processor with 8GB RAM and 256GB SSD storage. This makes it extremely fast while still being able to run multiple programs at once without slowing down—even if they're high-resolution games!
  2. The keyboard is backlit so you can see what keys you’re pressing even in dim lighting conditions (this isn't always necessary but we like having this feature). And since this model only weighs about 2 pounds (0.9 kilograms), carrying around all your stuff will be easy even if everything inside weighs more than just this one thing alone would normally do so without breaking your back over time from carrying things around all day long every single day!
  3. The screen is a 13.3” touchscreen with a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels, which makes it ideal for watching movies and playing games as well as doing work on the go. It also has dual-band Wi-Fi so you can access the internet from anywhere—even when there's no WiFi available!

Tech Specs

The Stealth Laptop comes with an 8th generation Intel Core i7-8550U processor and 16GB DDR4 RAM. It also has a 512GB PCIe SSD, which is the fastest type of storage on the market. The display is a 15.6" full HD (1920 x 1080) 120Hz IGZO IPS display that looks great at any angle, thanks to its wide viewing angle and thin bezels.

The graphics card in this laptop is an NVIDIA GeForce MX150 with 2GB GDDR5. The MX150 will run games like Overwatch, League of Legends and Dota 2 on ultra settings without any issues but don't expect to run at 60 frames per second on AAA titles such as Battlefield V or Call of Duty Black Ops 4

The battery life on this laptop is also very good, with up to 7 hours of continuous use. This is one of the best laptops for gaming if you are looking for a machine that will last all day without having to charge it again.

Battery

The battery can last up to 12 hours on a single charge, which will last you longer than most of your classes and assignments. If you need to get back online quickly, however, the Stealth laptop charges fast—in just two hours.

The Stealth also comes with a USB-C port so that you can charge it while working on it or while traveling. This is convenient if you’re in an area with limited outlets; just hook up one end of the charging cable to your laptop and another end into an outlet and presto! You’ve got some juice for later on down the road when there aren’t any outlets available for miles around (or even feet).

Graphics

The Stealth has a good, but not great, graphics card. The Intel UHD Graphics 620 is good for basic tasks and light gaming, but it isn't the best card on the market.

The Stealth comes with either an Nvidia GeForce MX150 with 2GB GDDR5 or 4GB GDDR5 depending on your model. This is a solid midrange graphics card that's okay for light or medium gaming but will start feeling sluggish when you play games like Fortnite or PUBG at higher settings.

The top-of-the-line model comes with an Nvidia GeForce GTX 1050 Ti with 4GB GDDR5 and another model has an Nvidia GeForce GTX 1060 with 6GB GDDR5—two powerful mid-range cards that are better suited to more demanding applications than those of the MX150 above them in terms of performance per watt efficiency level (see our article on how this works).

The MX150 is also a better choice for VR, as it supports Oculus Rift and HTC Vive. The other models do not have this ability at all, so if you're interested in virtual reality they won't work well with your headset.

Keyboard and Touchpad

The keyboard is backlit and very comfortable to use. It also has a fingerprint reader, which will allow you to log into your laptop even when it’s locked with Windows Hello. The touchpad on the Stealth is large and responsive, and it supports gestures like two-finger scrolling and three-finger swiping to switch between apps.

Ports

The Stealth Laptop's ports are located on the left side of the laptop, which is great for righties but not so great for lefties. The ports include:

  • USB-C
  • Headphone jack
  • MicroSD card slot

The laptop also has a fingerprint reader, which is an uncommon feature in this price range. The fingerprint scanner on the E 15 is located on the upper right corner of the trackpad and is easy to find and use.

Screen Size

The Stealth offers a 12.5-inch Full HD display, with a 1920x1080 resolution. The screen is sharp and bright, but it's not the brightest laptop screen out there. If you're looking for something more colorful and brighter than the Stealth's display, you'll want to look elsewhere (or just crank up the brightness).

Thin Design with Cooling Technology

The new Razor Blade Stealth laptop is a smart and stylish choice for anyone looking to take their daily computing on the road. It's thin, lightweight, and has built in cooling technology to keep your system from overheating during heavy use. The sleek design makes it easy to carry around with you so you can work wherever you want!

Design and Usability

The design of the Stealth is sleek and light. The weight is 3.5 lbs, making it lighter than a Macbook Air (4 lbs), but just as thin. The special cooling technology in the Stealth keeps things cool and running smoothly. Despite its ultra-thin design, this laptop still comes equipped with all the bells and whistles you’d expect from a high-end notebook: a screen resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels; an Intel Core i7 processor; 8GB RAM; 512GB SSD storage space; two USB-C ports (for charging and connecting peripherals) and two regular USB 3.0 ports on either side of the laptop to connect external devices such as keyboards or mice; WiFi 802.11 ac connectivity for fast internet speeds up to 433 Mbps at 2 meters away from your router; Bluetooth 4.1 wireless connectivity so you can connect wireless headphones or earbuds without using those pesky wires again!
